A Zimbabwean millionaire based in South Africa says he will spend R5M to pay Cassper Nyovest to fill up the biggest stadium in Zimbabwe, National Sports Stadium, if Robert Mugabe steps down as the country’s president.
The 39 year old Michael Moyo, who has business interests in mining and logistics, says he is a big fan of hip hop superstar Cassper Nyovest and knows many of his fellow Zimbabweans appreciate his music.
“I am a big fan of Cassper Nyovest but this is not only about music, it’s about celebrating the demise of someone who has been ruling the country like it was his tuckshop. I want my fellow countrymen to celebrate the dawn of new beginning,” said Moyo.
“I will spend millions of my money to make sure Cassper Nyovest goes to Zimbabwe and do what he did at The Dome, Orlando Stadium and about to do at FNB stadium. It will be open to all Zimbabweans for free,” he added.
Asked if he would encourage Zimbabweans living in South Africa to go back home should Mugabe step down he said “of course I would. We need to go back to rebuild the country that Mugabe and his family messed. We must return Zimbabwe to its old glory”.
