Black First Land First (BLF) president Andile ‘Vice Biko’ Mngxitama is allegedly receiving R70 000 monthly from the Gupta family. According to a reliable source who used to be a BLF member, the bearded leader has been on the payroll of the controversial Gupta family since Apri 2016.
“I left the stokvel called BLF because it is now run from Saxonwold by the Gupta family. When we started I thought we were going to fight for black people. When it became clear that we were going to be the security guards of the Guptas I left the party and rejoined EFF,” he said on condition of anonymity for fear of his life.
“We received information that he was receiving R70 000 monthly from the Gupta family and when we asked we were labelled defenders of white monopoly capital. I will never believe anything that comes from the guy’s mouth and fingers,” He added.
Since his expulsion from the 3rd largest political party in South Africa, Economic Freedom Fighters, Andile Mngxitama has turned himself into a defender of President Jacob Zuma and his friends the Guptas. Last week he disrupted a gathering to discuss Gupta Emails. He also tried to disrupt a Daily Maverick gathering in Cape Town but was stopped by heavy security guards.
Attempts to get a comment from BLF and Andile Mngxitama were unsuccessful.
